Nancy Wilson, a jazz musician and three-time Grammy Award winner was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on 20 February 1937 to Olden Wilson an ironworker who had been employed for a considerable period as housekeeper. Nancy was the youngest child of six. Her father's love of music as well as the music he played at home were a huge influence on Nancy as a young girl. As young as four an age, she was certain she would be a singer. She developed her talent through her participation in the choir at church. When she was 15, she won the talent show on T.V. and was able to regularly appear on the Skyline Melodies Tv Show while still in High School. In the year she turned 15years old, Nancy started her professional career at nightclubs. After graduating from high school at the age of 17, Nancy was enrolled for a term at Ohio's Central State College now Central State University prior to leaving and becoming a professional performer. She made her first recording with Rusty Bryants Carolyn Club Big Band, which she sang with from 1956 to 1958. Nancy began her recording career with Dot Records in 1956, as part of the group. Cannonball Adderley told that she should move to New York to further her professional career. She moved to The Big Town in 1959. Within one month, she got a gig singing at The Blue Morocco Night Club located on Boston Road in The Bronx where Adderley's agent heard her, and she was signed. He obtained a contract for the label Capitol Records in the year 1960. she debuted that year by releasing the single. Guess who saw today. Her records were successful and Capitol released 5 Nancy Wilson albums in two years. At first, she focused on blues and rhythm under the influence of Adderley, she shifted away from R&B and embraced the torch and jazz genres. Nancy Wilson, Cannonball Adderley together with their 1962 group led her to the top of the charts. The singer had her breakout song Tell Me the Truth by 1963. It led her to perform at the New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America in the year following and she became a star.

She was educated in private schools as well as graduated at Oxford University. The degree she earned was of Archaeology and Anthropology. Maisie was first introduced to acting in 2012 with Our First World. Ellie played a role in a short film from 2013 Americano and Rum. She was cast in a small cameo part in the role of Korr Sella for the 2015 film Short Wars : The Force awakens. in the Netflix Original Movie The Kissing Booth Season 2 or 3, she played Chloe Winthrop.
