Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. She currently holds the position as the president of Los Angeles Lakers, the owner of the National Basketball Association. Buss is an California native, and was raised by a wealthy family. Jerry Buss is her father. He was a real estate tycoon, and later the manager of Lakers, among other businesses. Her feelings of abandonment were heightened after her parents split in 1972. When she was 19 years old she was able to take over management of the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as their General Manager. Later, she founded in the Los Angeles Blades, a professional, roller-hockey club. Before becoming vice president for the Lakers in 2013, she was president of Great Western Forum. Buss along with her five sisters took over his Lakers controlling ownership after the death of Buss' father in 2013. Each of the sisters had equal rights. She assumed her duties as the president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-founder of Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion that is based at Los Angeles.
